Geranium Essential Oil 100% Pure. Description : Geranium Essential Oil is a greenish-olive liquid with a rosy-sweet, minty scent preferred in perfumery work. Typically this is a fragrance blend with regular Geranium and its cost is less than regular Geranium, however authentic rose Geranium is typically twice the cost of regular geranium. Common Uses : Geranium Essential Oil is commonly used as an antibacterial in wound healing and the treatment of acne and pimples. It is also indicated as a soothing aid for conditions such as shingles and other diseases that cause neuralgia (nerve pain).

It is also thought of as a "balancer" for conditions where hormones have gone out of balance. Oily skin and acne: Put 1 or 2 drops of Geranium Essential Oil onto clean fingers and dab directly onto oily areas of the face and pimples. Alternatively, put 5 drops of Geranium Essential Oil into a bowl of warm water, squeeze a clean facecloth into it, then apply with gentle pressure all over the face.

This can also be a nice pick-me-up at the end of a heavy day's work. Shingles: Put 3-5 drops of Geranium Essential Oil into a cool or warm bath (whichever you tolerate best) and let your body rest in the water while you inhale the lovely fragrance of the essential oil. Think calm thoughts and let the tension slide off into the water. Blends well with the following essential oils. Lavender, Pathcouli, Clove, Rose, Orange Blossom, Sandalwood, Jasmine, Juniper, Bergamot and other citrus essential oils. Use with caution if pregnant or breast feeding as well as for babies or small children and pets, as it can be toxic in higher doses. May cause irritation to sensitive skin, however it is rare.
